Fifteen random facts about me:
1. I'm married to the most fab Jen. However there are other important females in my life, my lovely nieces, two cats called Skippy and Suki and a lovely old boat that I sail on the river and Irish sea.
2. I prefer to travel everywhere by motorcycle, I hate traveling by car and plane. In fact I'm not happy flying at all, all those cracks in the wings make me nervous!
3. I love animals and won't run over anything, even a slug or snail – I stop the bike/car and move them out of the way! I'm a vegetarian, and the only stuff I miss is haggis, black pudding and pepperoni pizza.
4. My favorite films are Blade Runner, Usual Suspects and Leon.
5. I really care about the effects that humanity is having on our environment, detest gas guzzlers and am a member of the CAT. I guess that makes me a bit of an old hippy at heart.
6. My favorite music is by Neil Young, Crazy Horse, Black Sabbath, REM, and rock music in general.
7. The Lifeboats are my favorite charity for reasons that will not be discussed here.
8. I'm not very good at being organised and leave most things to the last minute.
9. Although I'm not a scouser, I came to Liverpool from the midlands as a student, couldn't wait to leave and then returned a few weeks later because I missed the place so much. I've lived here ever since. I hope that makes me an honorary scouser.
10. I'm not too people oriented and it takes me a while to be confident with strangers, although you would'nt believe that on the basis of what I do for a living.
11. I have a interest in decaying/abandoned stuff, and would love to develop my photographic work in this area and others.
12. I deeply believe that photography has the power to change the world for the better and would like to spend more time traveling the world and documenting my experiences photographically.
13. My favorite pub is the fabulous Swan in Wood Street and I have spent many an hour there.
14. I love gong on adventures such as motorcycling, sailing and caving. I used to be a climber but I've retired from that game.
15. I like to think of myself as being nonconformist but hey lets get real here - I'm an engineer!
